Michael Jackson's music has always inspired me. This piece of art (Get on the Floor) was inspired by a song from Jackson's Off the Wall album. When I heard the song entitled "Get on the Floor," I thought about my sisters and how they used to dress up and perform in front of a mirror.

I phoned my brother, Joe, in Tyler Texas and asked him to have my sister, Linda, pose for him. His assignment was to take pictures of her dancing. The result was this painting, entitled "Get on the Floor."
